Scholarship information

Here at Tye Chua Dance we believe dance is meant to be shared. Dancing brings joy and creates community, and we hope to include everyone who has a desire to dance.

Tye Chua Dance is grateful for our generous donors and patrons, who make our Scholarship Program possible.  Roughly 25% of our students receive some level of aid from Tye Chua Dance.  We believe dance is for every body and feel that financial hardship should not be a barrier to high-quality dance instruction. Scholarships are awarded to students based on financial need, artistic ability, student commitment, and availability. 

Students receiving scholarships should display the qualities and values Tye Chua Dance embodies:  kindness, inclusion, discipline and leadership.  Absences should be minimized. If these requirements are not met, students may be taken off scholarship at any point during the year.
